Carolina Estefan Packaging

Carolina Estefan is a luxury Colombian fashion brand run by sisters Carolina and Silvana Estefan.

 

We conceptualized and designed this packaging as a marketing strategy to respond to the onset of the pandemic in 2020. With the lockdowns and closure of stores, and selling exclusively online, the brand needed a way of creating an experience for its clients that went beyond walking into a brick-and-mortar store. Given that all products were bought on their website and shipped, the logical answer was a mailer to replace their classic shopping bags.

 

The mailer sports a beautiful print that makes their tropical chic DNA the main character. Making the mailers extremely attractive and photographable was a complementary part of the marketing strategy as the brand needed the packaging to be highly shareable and instagrammable. We designed these boxes to be too beautiful to throw out, and something you'd like to post the minute it arrives at your doorstep.

To foster loyalty within the client base, the boxes also include Carolina's catchphrases and mantras on the inside. Much of the brand's content is aspirational and her clients feel inspired by her style and designs, so adding this little surprise gets them closer to feeling like a part of the brand's narrative.
